Payments Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
When meome introduces paid plans or checkout, this Policy governs fees, renewals, refunds, and how Agent-led hotel or shop discoveries relate to third-party payments — written so meome stays protected while staying clear with users.
1. Scope
This Payments Policy applies if and when meome offers paid plans, subscriptions, credits, in-app purchases, or other fees (collectively, “Paid Features”). Until Paid Features are enabled for your account, no charges apply beyond any store or carrier fees outside our control.
By completing a purchase or starting a paid plan, you agree to this Policy, our Terms of Use, and the pricing shown at checkout.
2. Pricing & taxes
Prices are listed in the app, on the website, or in the applicable app store at the time of purchase. We may change prices prospectively; existing subscription renewals will follow notice rules of the store or our billing system.
Displayed prices may exclude applicable taxes, duties, or store fees. You are responsible for any taxes we are required to collect. Currency conversion and bank fees are your responsibility.
3. Billing, renewals & authorization
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel according to the cancellation method for your purchase channel (App Store, Google Play, or meome web checkout).
By purchasing, you authorize meome and/or the platform processor to charge your selected payment method for the initial fee and renewals, plus applicable taxes. Failed payments may result in suspension until payment succeeds.
4. Payment processors & app stores
Payments may be processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, or other processors we designate. Their terms apply to the payment flow. meome receives confirmation and limited billing metadata; card vaulting is handled by the processor or store where applicable.
For App Store or Google Play purchases, refund and cancellation requests generally must be made through that store’s tools. We will reasonably cooperate but do not control store decisions.
5. Refunds & cancellations
Unless required by law or expressly stated at checkout, Paid Features are non-refundable once access begins, including unused time in a billing period after you cancel mid-cycle (access typically continues until period end).
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a goodwill credit or refund in exceptional cases (e.g. verified duplicate charge). Discretionary refunds do not create an obligation for future refunds.
Chargebacks filed without first contacting support may be treated as account abuse. We reserve the right to contest fraudulent disputes and to suspend accounts involved in abusive chargeback patterns.
6. Hotels, shops & third-party spend
Agent suggestions for hotels, nearby shops, or similar places do not mean meome is selling those goods or lodging, unless checkout clearly states meome is merchant of record.
If you book or buy through a third party (hotel, retailer, OTA, maps partner, etc.), that party’s payment, cancellation, and refund rules apply. meome is not responsible for third-party charges, overcharges, no-shows, quality issues, or refunds — even if you discovered the option via meome.
If we later offer affiliate links or referral bookings, any commission does not make meome a party to your contract with the merchant unless expressly stated.
7. Credits, promos & trials
Promotional credits, trials, and coupons have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire as disclosed. We may revoke credits obtained through abuse or error. Trial conversions to paid plans follow the notice and billing rules shown when you enroll.
8. Your payment responsibilities
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that information is accurate. You must keep billing details current. Unauthorized use of a payment method is grounds for immediate termination and may be reported to processors or authorities.
9. Payment-related liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, meome’s liability related to Paid Features is limited as stated in the Terms of Use. We are not liable for processor or bank outages, FX differences, store policy outcomes, or merchant disputes outside our control.
Nothing in this Policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Payments Policy as we launch or change Paid Features. Continued purchase or renewal after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy for future charges.
11. Billing support
Billing questions: billing@meome.com or +91 8431573174. Include your account email and approximate purchase date. For App Store / Play purchases, start with the store’s report-a-problem flow.
